Are
you aggressively engaged in selling books to publishers? Absolutely! Selling books is our top priority.
|
 |
Are you familiar with my genre?
As an editor I’ve worked extensively with each of the genres I
represent. I have also written in many of these genres,
including romance, mystery, and suspense.
|
 |
Which services that you provide do you charge writers for? We sometimes charge for printing and mailing manuscripts if the
burden becomes excessive. We will not charge for something
without first informing you.
|
 |
What is the one thing your agency is the most proud of? We’re proud of our relationships with clients. Many of my early
editing clients asked me to represent their books as an agent,
because I maintained a coaching relationship with them long
after completing the editing. |
 |
Do you offer light editing services? Absolutely! As a relatively new agency, we go out of our way to
help clients perfect their manuscripts, query letters, and book
proposals. |
 |
May
I review your standard contract?
You may to
review our standard contract.
|
 |
What else is expected of me after signing the contract?
If your book needs light editing, we expect you to help with
that process. We may ask for your input as we contact publishers
about your manuscript. We also ask you to be patient with the
process; your book may sell within a few weeks, or it may take
months to find the right publisher.
|
 |
Can I reach you by phone or fax? Of course! I’m available during normal office hours (Pacific
time) and sometimes in the evening. All
clients are provided with a toll-free number that connects
directly with my office.
